My Journey: From Struggles to Mentorship

As the first person in my family to pursue a career in medicine, I had no one in my immediate circle whom I could turn to for guidance or advice. As a result, most of my process was through trial & error. I remember feeling lost, insecure, indecisive, & frustrated about my choices at each step in my journey.

I remember days when I needed peace & quiet or I needed to focus on tasks but I struggled to do so because I lived in an environment that was loud & chaotic. 

I recall thinking & sharing with my friend that once I advanced to a position where I could help others, I would do so. Now that time has come. I am eager to lend a helping hand, be a sounding board, & be someone that aspiring medical professionals can turn to when in need of guidance. And if by chance I am unable to provide a solution, I hope to connect them with someone who can.

Accepted Into Medicine Graduate Package

Four one-hour sessions designed for ambitious candidates committed to a career in healthcare, regardless of their current stage in the application process. Accepted Into Medicine provides personalized guidance tailored to empower aspiring medical professionals in achieving their goals. The mentee will schedule session one upon completing the online questionnaire, and the scheduling of sessions 2-4 will be determined collaboratively by both the mentee and mentor after session one.
